Our Process

Step 1

Friendly Chat with Us

Start your project with a quick call or email to our office. Kristy or Todd will arrange a convenient time for a site inspection.

Step 2

On-Site Inspection

Next, Todd meets you onsite to assess your proposed new pool space, recommend the best size and shape for your area, discuss any additional extras you may want completed such as Fencing, Heating and Paving. After this visit, Kristy will send your final quote.

Step 3

Booking Your Install, Approvals & Paperwork

When you’re ready to make a splash, get in touch with Todd or Kristy. We handle the entire approval process for you — from council and certifier applications to MidCoast Water requirements and home warranty insurance. Todd will also arrange a time to meet, review your contract together, and get everything signed so your project can move forward seamlessly.

Step 4

Excavation & Pool Installation Begins

Let the transformation begin! Todd will mark out your pool according to the site plans and set the levels. Excavation will then commence, followed by the pool shell being carefully lowered into place. Plumbing is installed and backfilling begins as the pool starts to fill with water.

Once this stage is nearly complete, formwork is prepared for the concrete. Todd will arrange for the certifier to carry out the required inspection, and once approved, the concrete will be poured to move your project into the next phase.

Step 5

Filtration, Equipment & Final Handover

Once construction is complete, we connect and commission all filtration and equipment, ensuring everything is running perfectly. Your new pool will be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for use. Todd will then complete a full handover, giving you peace of mind by showing you exactly how to care for and maintain your new pool.

Step 6

Final Inspection & Pool Registration

Once your required fencing is completed and CPR chart is up, we arrange the final Council inspection for you. After approval, you’ll just need to register your new pool at swimmingpoolregister.nsw.gov.au.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What approvals do I need before installing a pool?

Most residential pools require council approval or certification before work can start. This typically includes engineering plans, site plans, boundary checks and compliance with safety regulations. The process ensures your pool meets structural requirements and fencing standards. Working with experienced installers helps streamline this stage because they understand local regulations and can prepare the necessary documentation on your behalf.

  • Are fibreglass pools durable and long-lasting?

Fibreglass pools are known for strength, low maintenance and long-term performance. Modern shells are built with advanced composites designed to resist cracking, warping and surface issues. They hold up well against soil movement, temperature changes and everyday use. With proper installation and balanced water chemistry, a fibreglass pool can last for decades with minimal ongoing upkeep.

  • What equipment do I need for a new pool?

A complete pool setup typically includes a filtration system, pump, chlorinator or mineral system, skimmer box, plumbing and optional add-ons like heating, cooling or robotic cleaners. Many homeowners also choose covers, rollers, handrails and ladders to improve convenience and safety. The best equipment depends on the size of your pool, how often you plan to use it and your preferred maintenance routine.
